This is the sole surviving Curtiss XP-55 Ascender, number 2 prototype.
These were taken as we organised parts so that people from Kalamazoo Air Museum could see the plane and decide if they want to restore it (they are). Sorry about the darkness of some of these.
Some parts like those that are bare aluminum are covered in a protective coat put on before storage, hence the gold color. ONWARDS!!!!
